I have been operating a successful early childhood education program for 23 years. I offer an active learning, supportive, safe and homelike feeling in my day home. Small groups allow me to give each child my individual attention and better support each child’s individual needs. I have consistently enjoyed working with children, and I bring a natural ability to engage with them effectively. After 23 years, I still deeply love what I do.
I have my level 1 early childhood certification and continue to take training to keep me current in best practices. I strongly believe in outdoor play and learning, so I incorporate daily outdoor activities in my planning. I offer a variety of learning through play experiences that supports and encourages language development, fine and gross motor skills, sensory play, social emotional development, music and movement, cognitive development as well as creativity.
I believe in creating a strong partnership with the parents in my programs so that we can support the optimal growth and development of your child.
I provide 2 healthy snacks and a lunch. My hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:30-5 pm. We are a per friendly home. We have 2 very well trained and friendly dogs. I understand that not all children are comfortable with dogs will adapt my program accordingly.
