Hello! My name is Fe, and I am a proud day home educator! Here is a little something about myself:
I currently have a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certificate. I have a very extensive background in providing care as I have been a nurse my whole life. I worked as a pediatric nurse for 12 years and my heart has been filled with love for children ever since. I’m originally from the Philippines and moved to Lethbridge in 2009. I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in elderly homes, and I found it fulfilling. When the opportunity to be a day home educator came my way, I immediately decided to continue my passion of taking care of children and I’m loving every second of it!!!
My day home is located in the Uplands area on the north side of Lethbridge. I have transformed our home into an environment conducive to learning through play experiences. My program offers a variety of spaces to support play-based learning. I have an assortment of play materials which support all areas of development. Our home also has an enclosed backyard where I bring the children out daily (weather-permitting) for them to safely play and explore the outdoors. I ensure that my activities and meal plans meet or exceed the requirement of my agency while supporting the individual needs of the children.
I promise you that providing care to your child will be my utmost priority and I will make sure that they will have a wonderful time with me. I understand that I will be a large part of your child’s journey, assisting them to become a successful individual in the future!
