Hi! My name is Tammy Lehr and I run my day home in Cardston. I have been operating a day home since December of 2012. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from BYU Idaho. Once graduating university in 2005, I worked in the field of Early Childhood Education as a substitute teacher until the birth of my son when I chose to stay at home with him and open a day home. My degree from university converted into a Level 3 in Early Childcare Education.
Being contracted through a licensed Day Home Agency means that I have all of the necessary background checks, first aid and health and safety standards in place. In my day home we follow the FLIGHT curriculum program which includes child led activities that target a wide spectrum of developmental domains. I provide interactive play with a variety of materials and play areas that are designed to meet the emerging interests of all the children in my home. These activities are designed to meet all the developmental domains. I also offer a large outdoor space with many play areas and materials that we access daily (weather permitted).
